New Invictus yacht 200 HX compact crossover is born & world premier at the Cannes yachting festival 2017

Invictus Yacht continues to innovate and has the pleasure to presents their latest creation: the sporty 200 HX outboard, renewing the great Italian tradition of open boats. This model has been officially presented at the next Cannes Yachting Festival 2017.

Using an automotive terminology, without a doubt we would call her a “compact crossover”, a sporty model to satisfy the boldest owner, while at the same time offering exceptional load capacity, perfect for comfortable cruising with the family. Significantly, the letter “H” stands for “Hard”, a reminder of this gamma’s robust build.

The sleek and streamlined hull form offers surprising performance and seaworthiness, even in extreme conditions. As with every Invictus, the 200 HX benefits from all the qualities that make the Italian shipyard the new reference point in the nautical panorama, starting with the original and innovative design and including attentive construction and carefully finished details, with no compromise in quality.

NEW RANGE HX – SPORTY AND INCREDIBLY VERSATILE

For passionate sailors who also love sport and adventure, the Invictus 200 HX is the first model of a new range that combines important technical qualities with beautifully finished materials – the aluminum tubes are painted in the same shade as the fiberglass and the fine leather coverings blend to create an amazing new concept for a sport boat.

The deep-V hull and outboard engines inherit a DNA derived from classic open fisherman, now developed in an innovative evolution to conquer the most refined owners. The HX gamma is dedicated to fun and adventure, designed to give the best in agility and safety, highly maneuverable thanks to the outboard motors, fitted out with the best equipment available.

200 HX – DETAILS PREVIEW

The sleek hull promises speed and incredible seaworthiness in complete safety. This is how the Invictus 200 HX, though only 6.1 meters long and 2.4 meters wide, can carry outboards providing up to 150hp, for a top speed of 36 knots and a cruising speed of 20 knots.

The deck layout is created around the sporty center console featuring a wide windscreen and enhanced by a solid handrail that doubles as a roll-bar. The console also features a leaning-post for the driver providing perfect steering control. An optional robust T-top can be attached to the roll-bar. In common with all the models in the gamma, the Invictus 200 HX’s owner can choose between either a passenger settee or a technical area equipped with a bait box and live well.

Italian styling is always evident on-board thanks to the optional elegant “attack grey” colored upholstery, the same optional color offered by the yard for the shade of the hull.

Great care is also taken with the detailing and finishings, both in the choice of materials and all the alternating chromatics.

DEBUT IN STYLE AT CANNES YACHTING FESTIVAL

The new Invictus 200 HX has been officially presented to the public at Cannes Yachting Festival 2017 (12-17 September); an appointment that the Italian yard kept in grand style: at the French boat show, Invictus also has on display their flagship 370GT in a new version with full carbon hard-top and new engine version, the 280 of the GT range, the 240 and the 280 of the all new 2017 CX range, the 200, 240 and the 270 of the FX range.
