DAMEN is pleased to present the newly upgraded 55-metre (181 ft) DAMEN Yacht Support 5009 at the Monaco Yacht Show 2016. And we’re not just bringing a scale model, but an actual YS 5009 vessel parked at T-Central from 28 September to 1 October 2016.
“What better way to prove the great advantages of the Yacht Support concept than a purpose-built showcase vessel?” says Rob Luijendijk, Managing Director of AMELS, DAMEN’s luxury yacht builder and partner for the Yacht Support range. “Construction is underway at DAMEN in Holland and the YS 5009 will shortly begin sea trials. In Monaco we plan on bringing a full array of toys, tenders, a submersible and dive equipment.”
The value for money is very competitive and clients have responded positively – 9 vessels from the Yacht Support range have been delivered or are under construction. Following the success of the upgraded 69.15-metre YS 6911 (227 ft), DAMEN’s team of designers and engineers has turned its attention to the YS 5009, explains Mark Vermeulen, DAMEN Product Director Yacht Support and SeaXplorer.
