Jeddah Yacht Club Marina Becomes Centre of the Yachting World for Race Weekend.

With the arrival of the Formula 1 to the Jeddah Corniche, the Jeddah Yacht Club rolls out the red carpet, welcoming a spectacular fleet of the world’s finest superyachts to its marina.

The Formula 1 stc Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place this weekend, on the world’s fastest street track: the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Since its debut in 2021, the prestigious event has been attracting some of the industry’s most impressive yachts, and this year promises to be an even grander affair.

The Jeddah Yacht Club, with its stunning views of the Red Sea, is set to host over 20 superyachts throughout the race weekend. Since Sunday, superyachts have been arriving into the marina, situated between the iconic Jeddah Yacht Club building and the breathtaking Al-Rahma Mosque.

Among the remarkable vessels in attendance are the 113 metre Alaiya, the 108 metre IJE, and the 95 metre Vava 2, with the grand arrival of the Saluzi on Friday morning marking the completion of this extraordinary lineup.

Oliver Rees, General Manager of the Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, said: “We are thrilled to welcome such an incredible line-up of luxury yachts to the Jeddah Yacht Club Marina. We’ve been welcoming superyachts since 2021, but it’s still exciting for all of us to see this marina packed with some of the world’s most impressive pleasure boats.

“Speaking to captains, we’ve been told that berthing at the Jeddah Yacht Club’s Marina has never been easier, which is the best news we could hope to hear. Our team has worked around-the-clock to make this marina the centre of the yachting world this weekend, and their dedication has clearly paid off.”

As the Grand Prix garners significant international media attention, Jeddah’s reputation as a top-tier destination for world-class events continues to grow. Rees added, “The way this weekend has come together really speaks to the city’s incredible infrastructure. With Jeddah Yacht Club Marina’s top-notch facilities, it’s clear that Jeddah is now more than ready to host major global events like this!”

As the race weekend kicks off on Friday March 17th, the Jeddah Yacht Club Boardwalk will come alive with eager race fans. Visitors will be able to enjoy the mouthwatering cuisine, explore a wide range of exclusive shops, and, of course, marvel at the dazzling display of incredible yachts that have made this event a global sensation.
