Ocean Allianceis announced as Central Agent for the newly launched M/Y ONEWORLD

Ocean Alliance has launched the 31.5 metre superyacht, M/Y ONEWORLD, onto the charter market.  Having arrived in March 2018 to Australia directly from the shipyard, the Owner and Ocean Alliance have wasted no time in making her available for charters on Australia’s east coast.

Part of the Majesty 100 range, this is the second Gulf Craft which has been built to Australian survey standards for the express purpose of charter, reflecting the increasing interest in and importance of the Australian charter market. As a leading Australian brokerage house and MYBA accredited, Ocean Alliance was selected as the Central Agent for ONEWORLD and will be undertaking the yacht’s world debut at the upcoming, Australian Superyacht Rendezvous (ASR).

“ONEWORLD has generous deck space for experiencing the Australian environment; her foredeck is particularly appealing.  Meanwhile, the interior is contemporary and stylish revealing both the Owner’s and charterers’ tastes.  Furthermore, her crew have been hand selected from Europe to operate the yacht to those exacting standards.  This is why we are sure ONEWORLD will be a very popular charter yacht in Australia,” explained Mr Joachim Howard, Managing Director of Ocean Alliance.

After exhibiting at ASR on the Gold Coast from the 20 to 22nd April, ONEWORLD will return to her homeport of Sydney before heading northto the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef from August to November for the prime charter season.

“It is great to be home.  After spending 15 years captaining charter yachts between the Mediterranean and Australia, I am excited to be permanently back in Australia and have the opportunity to take charter guests to some of my favourite places which, to date, have not had the recognition they deserve,” stated ONEWORLD’s captain, Matthew Baily.

ONEWORLD accommodates up to 12 guests in five staterooms – three double and two twin each with an additional Pullman bed.  ONEWORLD includes a wide array of toys and tenders for the charter guest including a Funair slide, five-person jacuzzi and dive and snorkelling equipment.

The Owner has selected renowned private and corporate chef, Clancy Atkinson, as the charter chef.  Clancy has had considerable experience creating corporate menus for the likes of Tom Ford, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent.  His menus for ONEWORLD will combine this attention to detail with inspirations from Australian fresh produce to devise a culinary experience on par with the yacht itself.

“The Australian charter market is going from strength to strength.  As demand grows so does the calibre of the superyachts and the experience being offered,” continued Mr Howard.

ONEWORLD is available for AUD $110,000 + APA + GST (10%) per week.
