Turquoise Yachts signs a contract for 55 metre Explorer Yacht

Turquoise Yachts has signed a new build contract for a 55-metre explorer yacht designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects.  The motor yacht is reminiscent of classic steam ships, yet she is designed and built to be an expedition yacht of the 21st century.  Her exterior styling and interior design reveal a classic profile with a contemporary twist.  Designated ice-class, she was conceived with the capability to explore Polar Regions and the Northwest Passage.  Hull construction commenced the third quarter of 2016 and delivery is planned for February 2019.

“With our recent expansion of Turquoise’s facilities and our new dry dock, says Turquoise CEO, Mehmet Karabeyoğlu, we are moving full steam ahead on 55m and 77m yachts as well as our 74m and 66m projects and are in a prime position to accommodate multiple super yacht orders simultaneously.”
