Galeon 500 Series

Galeon 500 Series

The Galeon 500 and its forthcoming family of motoryachts were designed from scratch with the emphasis on the boat adapting to lifestyle rather than vice versa. This series of innovations together truly make this a remarkable boat.

We made the choice to use either V-drive or Pod drive engines options to release more forward living space than a typical in-line engine installation, which gives a deceptively larger interior than most boats of the same class – further improved with the two large cabins having large glazing to give a light ambience.

The split level saloon has a dinette forward with a specially rotating helm-seat opposite, which converts to make a large social area, surrounded with magnificent panoramic views. The forward side windows contain specially designed electric windows to create very large openings – greater than any other boat in its class. (Note: The rotated seat doesn’t impinge on the controls if needed at short notice)

The Aft saloon area has a large well-equipped Galley to starboard, and a chaise longue opposite. Both port and starboard aft saloon windows slide forward, allowing the chaise longue to be accessed from the starboard side deck, and a fold up flap, extends the galley work surface into an outdoor bar.

Sliding back the 3 panel patio door under the stairs, extends the feeling of space, and reveals either one of three cockpit seating options: – either Conventional crew cabin, Large tender/sunpad combination or the fabulous new roto-seat, which is a rotatable comfortable sofa with table. The idea is that the owner and guests can relax with a glass of wine and face the direction of a beautiful sunset or vista, whatever way the tide or wind is orienting the boat when at anchor. Furthermore, under the roto-seat can be converted simply to a sunpad, and has enough space below for a shallow jet tender. On the back of the Roto-seat is a Barbeque grill allowing for a social barbeque, whilst keeping all the cooking smells away from the rest the boat – a popular style in Brazil.
