Vacheron Constantin add sparkle to Jewellery Arabia

Vacheron Constantin, the world’s oldest Haute Horlogerie manufacture with almost 260 years of uninterrupted history, marked yet another successful appearance at the 23rd edition of Jewellery Arabia in Bahrain. Held between the 18th and 22nd of November at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre, Jewellery Arabia is the largest and most prestigious watches and jewellery exhibition in the Middle East that showcases world renowned names and ingenious designs from the world over.

A regular exhibitor at the esteemed event, Vacheron Constantin continues to delight its connoisseurs by unveiling stunning creations that blend the brand’s unique values of precision, heritage and skill. This year too, the 5-day exhibition was treated to an array of exceptional pieces from Vacheron Constantin. The timepieces on display were:

• Patrimony Rose Gold (Ref. 81180/000R-9159): A true icon of Vacheron Constantin’s rich watchmaking legacy and combining a diameter of 40 mm and a thickness of 6.79 mm, the round timepiece boasts of a strap crafted out of the Alligator Mississippiensis. In dark brown with an Ardillon buckle, this Patrimony is fitted with a Caliber 1400 and has a power-reserve that lasts upto 40 hours!

• Traditionnelle 14-Day Tourbillon (Ref. 89000/000R-9655): Building on its experience, Vacheron Constantin has chosen to explore a new path by developing a tourbillon calibre as pure as the case housing it, while displaying performances unequalled in the realm of this complication. The Vacheron Constantin movement design engineers and watchmakers thus cooperated in developing a new mechanical hand-wound tourbillon movement – Calibre 2260 – endowed with an exceptional 14-day power reserve. Above and beyond the practical utility of this comfortable power reserve, the regulating organ fitted inside the tourbillon results in a watch displaying improved rating precision and enhanced long-term stability. The beautiful round timepiece has a diameter of 42 mm and a thickness of 12.22 mm and a deployant buckle in 18K 5N Pink Gold perfectly offsets a strap of Alligator Mississippiensis.

• Patrimony Novelty (Ref. 81180/000R-9162): This stunning timepiece will be unveiled for the first time in Bahrain and is truly a sight to behold. With a Caliber1400 and diameter of 40 mm, the black Alligator Mississippiensis timepiece has a 40- hour power-reserve and the Hallmark of Geneva certification as well! A 2014 novelty, the dial in a sophisticated shade of Gray is another feature that makes this timepiece even more unique in comparison to other timepieces of the same reference!
