Dr Wolfgang Schreiber, Bentley CEO has announced that Bentley will offer a plug-in hybrid version of 90% of the cars on its range as early as 2018 and that a plug-in hybrid option was ‘the right choice for the future of Bentley’.
He also confirmed that the first production-spec Bentley with a part-electric powertrain will be the marque’s controversial new SUV. The upcoming 4×4 was previewed by 2011’s EXP 9F concept car and will be released with revised looks in 2015.
