One Ocean Port Vell named winner in Architizer A + Awards 2016

In a collaboration with the architects SCOB and landscapers the marina’s focus has been on excellence in both construction and design since its outset. The two over-water buildings and 16,000 m2 of landscaped docks which form the Marina are integrated into their landscape, set between the industrial port and old town of Barcelona.

Paul Cook, General Manager, OneOcean Port Vell, said: “We are honoured to have been named a winner in the renowned Architizer A+ Awards. Our recognition by the people as an outstanding architectural project on this global scale is testament to the marina’s sensitivity and understanding of its environment. Following the multi-million pound transformation completed in 2014, this award is the culmination of all our team’s hard work to ensure we have a world class marina which reflects the vibrancy of modern day Barcelona. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for us.”

The Architizer A + Award is the second design award to be received by OneOcean Port Vell within the last 6 months.
